E-statements are a great way to stay connected to your personal financial information, which is why Denver Community offers easy-to-use e-statements right within your eBanking account. Not only are e-statements an effective resource to use to say on top of your finances, they offer tons of other benefits.
E-statements are more secure than paper statements. The U.S. Department of Justice reports that in 2012, nearly 7% of all U.S. residents (16+) were victims of identity theft. Identity thieves will do just about anything to get their hands on your personal information including going through your trash (where your paper statements get tossed) or even stealing your mail (where you paper statements are delivered). With e-statements, your information is much more secure. Denver Community e-statements are housed within your password protected eBanking account.
E-statements reduce paper waste. Depending on a member's account usage, a monthly paper statement can be several pages long, resulting in substantial paper waste.
E-statements are more convenient. All e-statements are housed within your online banking account, which you can access at any time.
E-statements get you one step closer to relationship pricing on auto loans. Denver Community Credit Union offers relationship pricing of up to 1% off your auto loan rate when you use e-statements, automatic payments, and direct deposit with a Denver Community checking account.*
E-statements are easy to start using. To start taking advantage of e-statements, log into your eBanking account. In the account menu on the left hand side of the screen, click on 'Statements.' Read and agree to the disclosures. Then, enter the email address you would like your e-statement notification to go to. Click the 'Submit' button to complete your enrollment.
