Denver Community Credit Union and all affiliated partners have completed an evaluation of online security in response to the Heartbleed Bug.  The Heartbleed Bug is an encryption and information-security bug that has affected two-thirds of website servers.  As a result of our thorough online security evaluation, it has been confirmed that Denver Community Credit Union's website, Online Banking, and other electronic programs are not affected by the Heartbleed Bug.  We do encourage members to take a precautionary approach to all online security at this time.  Please update all sign-on passwords you may have for other sites, and do not share your Online Banking username and password on any other sites.

Borrower Security

Life happens.  That’s why we offer Members Choice Borrower Security to members.  It is a voluntary loan-payment protection product that helps you get relief from the financial burden of delinquency, default, or foreclosure if a protected, unforeseen, life event unexpectedly happens to you that makes bill-paying difficult and a burden.  Plus, simple eligibility requirements ease the enrollment process.

How it works

If a protected life event happens to you (and you’re a protected borrower or co-borrower on the loan), Member’s Choice Borrower Security will cancel or reduce repayment of your loan debt – helping you lessen your worries about paying loans during a challenging time. Protected life events include:

  • Loss of life, including those caused by acts of war
  • Disability, including those caused by acts of war
  • Involuntary unemployment

* MEMBER’S CHOICE Borrower Security is a debt protection product offered by Denver Community Credit Union. Enrollment in this debt protection product is voluntary and not required to obtain a loan. Please contact a Denver Community Credit Union loan officer for additional information on benefit maximums, eligibility, limitations, and a copy of your contract.
