Below there are some steps that may help you connect to Internet Banking. These steps should be followed exactly as specified to get good results.
128-bit Encryption:
Once you have internet explorer running please be sure your browser is set to use 128-bit encryption.
Simply click on “Help” at the top of the screen and click on “About Internet Explorer”. The following screen should appear depending on which version you have. Where it displays the “Cipher Strength” it should be set to 128-bit. If it has anything less than 128 then you will need to upgrade your Internet Explorer to version 6.0 using Windows Update.

Session Cookies:
You must have session cookies enabled in order to have a secure connection. By enabling cookies this allows your browser to send pertinent information needed by the Home Banking software to verify your member number and password. If you do not have session cookies enabled you won’t be able to get to the required page to enter your user name and password.
Simply click on “Tools” at the top of your browser screen and click on “Internet Options”. The screen displayed should have tabs at the top that look like this.

Click on the Privacy tab and the following screen will appear.

Click on the “Advanced” button and the following screen will appear.

Please make sure your “Advanced Privacy Settings” are setup the same exact way as displayed above. Be sure to click “OK” on all screens that are open to save changes.
Deleting Temporary Internet Files and existing Cookies:
When browsing the internet there are temporary files saved to your computer's cache to help larger pages load faster. This can cause problems for banking websites because the information is never the same as when you visited it the first time. By deleting these temporary files it allows your browser to think that it is the first time and loads everything new.
Simply click on “Tools” at the top of your browser screen and click on “Internet Options” and you should then see the following screen.

Right in the middle of the screen you should see both buttons labeled “Delete Cookies” and “Delete Files”. First click on “Delete Cookies” and following confirmation screen will appear.

Click “OK” to delete all cookies.
Once all of the cookies have been deleted, please click on “Delete Files” and the following screen should appear.

Click “OK” to delete all temporary internet files. You may leave the box for “Delete all offline content” unchecked.
Click “OK” on any other open screens to save changes. Restart your Internet Explorer and try to access your Home Banking site again.
