Direct Deposit FAQs

What is Direct Deposit?

Instead of receiving a paper check, your paycheck goes directly to the credit union through a secure electronic transaction.  This means that you don’t have to worry about making it to the credit union during business hours or standing in line once you get there.  Also, you don’t have to worry about losing your check before you get a chance to deposit it.  In fact, Direct Deposit saves you time and money.

Why use Direct Deposit?

There are a variety of reasons to use Direct Deposit, including:

  1. Efficient – You don’t have to stand in line to deposit the check.
  2. Safe & Secure – You cannot lose a Direct Deposit like you might lose a paper check.
  3. Private – Less people see and handle your check.
  4. Timely – Your deposit is made on time, every time to your account.
  5. Green – There is no need to drive to pick-up or deposit your paycheck.  Plus, less paper may be used since no check is printed.
  6. Resourceful – Once your Direct Deposit arrives, we can set it up so that your pay is distributed to the accounts you would like – automatically! All you need is an ACH / Payroll Distribution form. Click here for a copy of this form.
